Why refrigeration system is needed for vacuum cooling machine?
A refrigeration system for a vacuum cooler is used to re-condense the hot vapor containing "evaporation" from the cooled product. This allows the vacuum system to continue to reduce atmospheric pressure within the chamber, thereby further cooling the fresh product. The re-condensation of steam also prevents moisture from entering the vacuum pump. Excess moisture in the vacuum pump may re-condense in the lubricating oil in the pump.
This will result in reduced performance and speed when evacuating the chamber and will also shorten the life of the vacuum pump. As can be seen from the above explanation, each functional component of the vacuum cooling system is required to be appropriately designed and sized to prevent their interaction. Vacuum coolers can perform their work efficiently, with acceptable cycle times, and are cost effective only when the balancing system is put together.
