Vacuum cooling brief introduce:
For applicable vegetables, vacuum cooling is the fastest of all cooling methods. Usually, it just takes 20-30 minutes to cool down the fresh harvested vegetables from as high as 35 degree centigrade to 2 degree centigrade. The largest vacuum cooler we made can process 24 pallets in each cycle, reducing the need for refrigeration room systems. This process can also be used on packaged vegetables, as long as there is enough ventilation to allow air and steam to escape quickly.
Vacuum cooling is also the most energy-efficient cooling method, because almost all of the electricity is used to reduce the temperature of the product. There are no lights, forklifts or workers in the vacuum cooler that can produce heat and raise the temperature. The unit is sealed completely during operation, so there will be no seepage problem during cooling.
